a feeling for snow group of 6
Cast lead, wheel cut crystal
11 H x 21 W x 10 D cm
My work is about snow. In a feeling for snow, I aim to capture the magic and delicacy that I associate with snow. My forms are derived from the basic hexagonal formation of snow crystals and have been manipulated and simplified to create the final cast glass pieces. This work speaks of both my love of snow as well as the memories and feelings of home, the Rockie Mountains, that I have brought here with me.
