The Forest Bowl

Within these cast forms I am exploring the interplay of light, colour and inner luminosity. I am working with both the inner and outer form of the cast surface to add an extra dimension to the piece. The cast surface is an important aspect of my work, along with the crisp angular lines that are softened through the casting process and the use of iridised glass. It is important for the success of these pieces to achieve the marriage of all of these elements in the one piece.
