Optical Landscape
Blown glass, ground and polished top, gel medium photography

Using thick glass forms I have been creating an optical lens in which to view an image of the landscape. The photograph is highlighted by the refraction of light through the glass, and the thickness of the form creates an illusion of distortion and movement.
