The Ascension

Painted, fused and blown rolled-up glass
47 H x 22 W x 22 D cm

With the rise of one amongst the masses, we should question the ascension. The chosen, by whom and why. Are we fools holding the light for others to climb by (images on the inside) or are we the diverse and the individual that through awareness, assess that before we grab hold (image on the outer surface) to go further and forward? I have tried to make this piece as homage to the person who fights against a generic flow and creates himself, or herself, as someone unique.
