Glassblowing is a medium in which you truly do learn something new each day. The continual search for perfection can become obsessive (or, in fact, unobtainable). However, this provides me with continual challenge as an artist/craftsperson. As well as this, the spontaneity of glass allows me to trial new ideas, techniques and designs almost as they enter my mind.
