My work deals with the tension created by the combination of texture and polished surfaces. Using lost wax technique allows me to experiment with forms I developed through my experience with ceramics. Clear furnace glass produces a depth of quality which invites the audience into the piece, or to establish a visual status quo with the interior of the bowl which seemingly hangs.
