Pond
Blown, silver stained, enamelled and engraved glass
52 H x 24 W x 10 D cm
This work Pond grew from RFC 1995. There we were at the opening last year, ponding. Around one plinth with Ben Edols and Kathy Elliott produced the idea of corresponding - on ideas for collaboration. One thing didn't much lead to another, but Ben blew me some great forms. This one presented me with the problem of having to paint and engrave on the outside. Fish, a frog with a paint brush, paint tubes, flying animals and more fish are my pond of daily life.
Who wields the paint brush in your pond?
Gaffer: Ben Edols
