Since my introduction to glass four years ago, I have been fascinated by the way it can be moulded and joined. Last year I started experimenting with mosaic and Murrini glass techniques as a way of incorporating a repetitive pattern in my design. After discovering a variation of this technique using coloured sheet glass and after researching patterns in textiles and printing, I have been able to design a range of vessels which I hope can offer something new to the tradition of mosaic and Murrini glass.
