This piece is a continuation of work that is inspired by an ongoing observation
of life on the reef. The choice of colour and pattern structure is a fictitious
representation of enticing yet venomous combinations of the skins and surfaces
of aquatic organisms that inhabit this environment.

As a recent immigrant to Australia I am fascinated by the richness and vibrancy
of my new environment. Using colour and the glass lathe I can explore and
interpret the intricate subtleties of random patterns in nature and the
tactile landscapes that surround me.
