Waiting for Rain
Hand blown glass (gaffer:

42 H x 150 W x 130 D cm
This piece was conceived during the long drought last Summer. I was thinking about dust and thirst, and of praying for rain, the anticipation of it, how to call it down. I imagined drought 100 years ago and people desperately putting out any vessel they could lay their hands on, in anticipation of the break.
