"Mer-bird-guy" and "Blue-eyes" are a pair of character bottles standing on their heads. In the mirror they appear to be right-side-up, (though glued to the ceiling). They are in love. The mirror is engraved with two birds, flying towards each other and the words "Bright fortune".
