Developing from a personal narrative, my works connect with more universal ideas about women and culture.
A homage to my 21-year marriage, its cultural differences balanced by the love and mutual respect that binds like a strong rope. He is solid, opaque; she is delicate, transparent. This work is also about the translucency of glass in contrast to the density of metal.
