The Patchpiece series speaks of gentle rhythm, resonate pattern and quiet chromatic harmony. The individual properties of colour embody movement within the form and the etched surface, a tactile response.
Hover is the beginning of an exploration of weight and movement of glass. It is to shift the perception of an inert mass' symmetry and line, and, with a simplicity of form, create a space for reflection and quiet serenity.
