I am standing at a point central to everything bound only by the horizon. There is no activity, confusion or noise, just empty space, the largest empty space I will ever experience. All that is in sight is a line dividing the sky and the earth at a distance so far I will never reach it.

According to Aboriginal myths, "Before the Dream Time the earth at our feet had no shape and no colour. Nothing walked across it. There were no emu or kangaroo tracks. It was land without water. No river flowed and the earth was peaceful."

Whether I'm in the desert or at sea I feel I have returned to the beginning of existence, before anything on earth had been created. Here there is no confusion only harmony. When I look at a horizon I always want to know what is there and what it would be like to be there, but like the future I wil never get there, only see it from a distance.
