These bowls are the result of a long period of working with large solid cast glass shapes. I wanted to explore the possibilities of a cast bowl which retained the forms and light properties that are in my previous pieces, as well as adding a new dimension into the piece by opposing the zig zags in the base of the piece with crisp lines softened by the cast surface.
